Commitment: 12 weeks (offered spring, summer, fall)
Current Fitness Level: fitness walkers or inactive
WalkFIT 5k is perfect for those who have no desire to run, but still want to be active and healthy. A supportive and trained coach will help participants adopt a regular walking routine and assist them in meeting new fitness partners along the way. Participants will be encouraged and prepared to walk a 5K at the end of the training program.
Start Date: Saturday, March 11th at 8AM at Fleet Feet Sports
Locations: Fleet Feet Sports and various locations throughout Buffalo.
Class Format: 2 weekly coached and mentored workouts
Program Fees: $100 by March 6th, then increases to $110
Graduation Information: The graduation race is the John Beishline Memorial 5K on Saturday, May 27th or an event of your choice
