And now a program to train at the next level – On The Track – a 10/11 week intermediate program starting in the spring to improve endurance and speed. The program starts June 18th, 2013 and will be every Tuesday at 6PM.

This program was built for people who want to improve their speed in a 5K/10K or 15K distance. We are offering a 10/11 week program to take you to your fastest 5K, first 10K, or your first 15K.
This program builds your skills and stamina for the 5K or trains you to increase to the next distance. On The Track is the program to help you meet those goals.
There will be a 10/11 week run plan, with mentors based on the participant’s pace. On the Track will also offer participants guidance and advice from experienced coaches and mentors, weekly group runs and educational clinics on topics such as proper running form, efficient training and pacing, nutrition, strength and
flexibility and selecting the proper gear all within a fun and supportive environment. That means your schedule will include pacing and speed drills as well as cross-training days.
The cost for this program will be $75. Registration opens May 1st.
The group will target the Tops 5K/10K (8/24/13) or the Fleet Feet 15K (9/2/13).
We also offer optional nutrition packages for those looking to eat healthier while participating in this program. You can sign up for this option directly through Balanced Nutrition's website.
