No Boundaries 5K

We will once again be offering our successful No Boundaries Beginner 5K program to help you run your first 5K!
Sessions will be held at various locations starting the week of March 19th! Pick the location that works best for you and sign up below:

Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus [Employees Only] (Tuesdays @6PM) - Online Registration or Paper Application
The BNMC No Boundaries program is open to any employees on the BNMC including but not limited to:
- ~Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center
- ~Buffalo Medical Group PC
- ~The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care
- ~Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute
- ~Kaleida Health
- ~Olmsted Center for Sight
- ~Roswell Park Cancer Institute
- ~University at Buffalo
- ~Upstate New York Transplant Services
Minimum Participation Requirement
To have each group we will need a minimum of 25 participants to ensure the best experience for all members.
Encourage your family and friends to sign up to join you in this amazing experience.
There is also a separate nutrition package available for those interested in losing weight or just general healthy eating.
The nutrition program includes:
(1) hour class at Balanced Nutrition in April to learn basic nutrition and weight management;
(1) hour class at Balanced Nutrition in May to learn nutrition tips for running performance;
45-minute consult with Registered Dietitian to establish individual nutrition goals;

No Boundaries is a beginner 5K (3.1 miles) training program designed for people who are currently inactive or new to running and walking. While No Boundaries focuses on beginners, all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line in just 10-12 weeks! Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!


The Spring Group will be targeting the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on June 9th!
No Boundaries in partnership with New Balance, presents a 12 week training program for beginners who want to run or run/walk their first 5K (3.1 mile race) !!
About the No Boundaries Program:
The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live a more healthy and active lifestyle. No Boundaries will also motivate and educate beginners on how to improve their fitness and develop the habits of a healthy lifestyle while preparing for their goal race.
Our past groups of No Boundaries participants had fun, enjoyed the challenges, lost weight, gained confidence and made new friends. And most are still running - some increasing their distance, getting faster, staying fit and smiling!
No Boundaries offers participants a 12 week training schedule, guidance and advice from experienced coaches, volunteer mentors (graduates of past No Boundaries programs who will inspire you to move), weekly group runs or run/walks and educational clinics and seminars on topics such as nutrition and hydration, avoiding injury through stretching, running form and pace and selecting the proper gear all within a fun and supportive environment. The program will culminate with the No Boundaries group running their goal race.
