Kevin Cavalieri has been participating with Fleet Feet Buffalo since January 2015. He first volunteered to become a Pace Leader in the Half and Full Marathon Training Program after realizing that running with a group is exponentially better than running alone. After multiple sessions as a Pace Leader, Kevin is proud to have recently joined the HFM coaching team.
Up until 2010, Kevin saw running strictly as a form of punishment. However, after being bullied into the 2010 Turkey Trot and having a surprisingly pleasant experience, he was inexplicably stricken with a desire to run one marathon. In 2011, he ran the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon and within hours of finishing it, he registered for his second. In May 2016, Kevin completed his 7th full marathon and is looking forward to #8 (and maybe #9?) this Fall.
To fund his love of Adidas apparel, Kevin is a Group Vice President in the Risk Management and Regulatory Affairs Division of M&T Bank, and has been with M&T for almost 18 years. Prior to joining M&T, Kevin attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. He holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Kevin is a native of Western New York and currently resides in North Buffalo with his wife Kristin and their 3.5 year old German Shepherd, Ginger. He and Kristin eloped in Prague, Czech Republic, and have been married for almost 14 years.
