Marathon

Fleet Feet Sports and Saucony are proud to present Western New York's most popular and successful Marathon Training Program.

Our program provides runners at every level an opportunity to train with a group, to have an individualized program tailored to their ability, to get unmatched information on proper footwear, clothing, nutrition and every other component of running a successful marathon.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced marathoner, our program is designed to help you reach your marathon goals. We offer a unique approach to training based on the principles of Pete Pfitzinger and Dr. Owen Anderson. It is designed to increase your overall strength, your speed and to help you develop a true sense of marathon pace.

While you can join our program at any time, we basically run two 18 week marathon training schedules each year. We begin one session in January, the other in June. Exact dates will be posted on this web-site approximately one month in advance of the beginning of each session. A sample monthly schedule is provided so that you can get a better understanding of our program. The schedule is representative of the first month of our program. If you are interested in joining, please click on the link below, download the forms, complete them and mail them along with your payment to Fleet Feet Sports.
