Community Involvement
Holiday Giving

Every year we have our Jingle Bell toy run as part of our Wednesday Night group runs. This year all the toys were donated to Sr. Johnice at the Response to Love Center. We donated a big mound of toys collected at our toy run to help children have a happier holiday. Join us next year to help out!
We also have a food drive that runs in the month of November every year to help provide the community with the makings of a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. Donations can be dropped off in November before Thanksgiving to help benefit a local food pantry for entries to win prizes. This year all donations of food and money in the "Turkey Till" were donated to the Black Rock Riverside Emergency Food Pantry.
Diva Nights Make A Difference
Twice a year Fleet Feet Buffalo hosts a Diva/Ladies Night. This women's only event is a great opportunity to kick back and relax while enjoying food, games, and fun with all of your fellow runners and walkers. What makes this night extra special here in Buffalo is that we always pick a charity to make donations to. Ladies are asked to bring personal care items to donate and be entered in raffle drawings or get special "Thank You" gifts. The last two events have benefited Journey's End, a refugee program that helps people start new lives right here in Western New York. Consider joining us at our next Diva Night to have a night of fun and help others.
Friends of the Night People

When you visit Fleet Feet Sports and get FIT for shoes, many people never want to put on their old shoes again. They leave them behind or intend to throw them out. We collect old shoes and donate them to Friends of the Night People. A local charity that provides the poor and homeless with basic needs, like shoes. Any shoes you leave behind in our store are recycled back into the community and help those who are truly in need. So next time you get FIT for a new pair of shoes, bring us your old ones so that together we can make a difference.

THE "SHOES ON STUDENTS" FUND
Once again we plan on donating running shoes to local high school athletes. We are looking for your input-if you know of a high school cross country program that could use our assistance, please contact us. Every year we have been able to expand our program to help more kids throughout Western New York.
Running the 15K helps us to give local high school runners the tools they need to compete at their best. When we started the event in 2007 our goal was to use the event to not only promote the City of Buffalo, but also to use the proceeds from the event to have an immediate, positive impact on our local community. Our goal is to grow the race to the point where we can donate at least 1000 pairs of shoes every year.
Thanks again to everyone who ran in, volunteered and sponsored our event last year, you are the ones who make these donations a reality. We hope to see you again this year!
